XSEM sees rapid growth with raft of new client wins in drinks industry
Leeds-based creative experiences agency XSEM has enjoyed a raft of new client wins as it expands into the drinks industry – already surpassing its financial targets for 2019.
Over the past six months XSEM has secured eight new clients within the drinks industry including Slingsby, Merchant’s Heart, Carthy and Black and Beluga Vodka.
XSEM’s rapid growth has led to the company exceeding its 2019 turnover target by half a million pounds, three months prior to the end of its financial year.
Managing director at XSEM Dan Bardgett said: “We’re extremely proud of the progress XSEM has made, our expansion into the drinks industry is an exciting venture. We’ve worked with long standing clients including Molson Coors, but the appointment of our business development manager, Brooke Dawson, has allowed us to hone in on her drinks expertise and widen the services we offer this market.”

Alongside the growth of XSEM’s drinks offering, the work of senior business manager, Sarah Davenport, and business development manager, Megan Walters, has driven XSEM’s growth in to the building, IT and telecoms sectors with recent client wins including PDM, Allvotec and Exertis.
XSEM’s team continues to grow with the company recruiting nine new hires in 2019, bolstering the team of 30 now employed at the agency. Key hires include a new project manager, a marketing rewards manager and a rewards and hospitality coordinator to focus on XSEM’s rewards division.
The agency plans to continue growing the team in 2020 and is currently recruiting for a golf project manager to expand the golf arm of the business.
Recent work by XSEM include experiential event for spirit enhancer brand Merchant’s heart, where guests were submerged in the science and production of drinks to effectively illustrate the benefits of the product. Similarly, a Slingsby Gin activation at Polo in the Park saw an incredibly popular stand showcasing the premium nature of the brand.
