Who is your hero or heroine? Vote for the M&IT Personality of the Year
Who is your hero or heroine in the events industry? Who would you like to see recognised for their contribution at this year’s M&IT Awards?
The M&IT Personality of the Year Award rewards those who have contributed above and beyond personal or business gain to make the events industry a better place. Someone whose efforts have enhanced the industry for all of us. This is the premier individual award in the events industry.
Previous winners make up a real hall of fame and now the deadline for the 2019 M&IT Personality of the Year Award is approaching. Visit Personality of the Year now to make your nomination and give your reasons no later than Thursday 31 January.
Last year Fay Sharpe won the award for her work with Fast Forward 15 promoting female leadership within the hospitality industry and advocating female equality in the workplace.
Wendy Fulcher won the award in 2017 for setting up her own charity, the Brain Tumour Research Campaign, to raise awareness for the condition after sadly losing a loved one.
Previous winners have included: Tim Chudley, Dale Parmenter, Carole McKellar, Rob Allen, Richard Foulkes, Hamish Reid and Joss Croft.
The M&IT Awards 2019 takes place at Battersea Evolution in London on Friday 1 March. The event industry’s biggest and most prestigious recognition programme, it is also the only independently audited events industry awards programme. Attracting more than 1,200 industry professionals, it is twice as big as any other awards evening in the event industry calendar.
Organised by M&IT magazine, the awards event brings together all sectors of the business to reward excellence of service and product and to enjoy fantastic cuisine, fine wines, excellent live entertainment and raise funds for charity.
We look forward to receiving your nomination!
