HeadBox kicks off summer season with BMA House networking party

Venue-finding platform HeadBox welcomed more than 150 corporate buyers to its networking and venue showcase event at BMA House in London.

Known as the #BMASummerSocial, the buyer guest list included big corporate names such as DC Advisory, Dentsu Aegis, Boston Consulting Group, Facebook and WPP.

Alongside HeadBox distributing information about the 5,000 plus venues featured on its platform, BMA House in the heart of Bloomsbury, was also able to showcase its variety of meetings spaces.

Kat Winfield, acting venue manager from BMA House said: “The event was a resounding success. HeadBox brought in a wide variety of leading corporates, who hadn’t previously seen BMA House or had the chance to experience our end to end service, creative food and beverage or a wide range of spaces for events of all types.”

One attendee, Ali Lord, head of events at Dentsu Aegis said the event drew his attention to venues nearby that he had been unaware of previously.

“HeadBox are experts at bringing together networks of like-minded people. They understand our venue needs and turn them into reality.

“In particular they open our eyes to new and creative spaces, particularly hidden gems such as BMA House, which is on our doorstep but until tonight I knew nothing about.  It is a superb venue with a host of interesting spaces ideal for all types of events supported by creative catering and great service,” said Lord.

A particular highlight of the event was the selection of medicinally themed gin and prosecco cocktails served in BMA House’s botanical garden. Food for the event was supplied by BMA House’s in-house caterers, CH&CO which focusses on British produce and healthy eating.
