Eventist Group acquires Corporate Events International

The Eventist Group, a portfolio of eight brands in the hospitality, catering and events industry has announced its acquisition of Corporate Events International, an events and production house.

The acquisition comes after the Eventist Group reported substantial growth year on year with the addition of Zafferano and Walled Garden Syon joining the group of brands. The acquisition of Corporate Events International aims to cement the group’s position as one of the leading events companies within the UK.

Tim Stevens, managing director of Eventist Group said: “We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to bring CEI on board, a highly respected company with a fantastic and creative team of experts in their field.

“This is also a great opportunity for Eventist to further its offerings through incorporating new and exciting creative channels which complement our existing brand portfolio.”

Corporate Events International has a portfolio of its own nine brands and specialises in working with national and international organisations to provide events in outdoor environments, such as conferences, brand activations and product launches.

As part of the takeover, the Eventist Group plan to revert Corporate Events International’s name back to its former, The Corporate Festival Company, but ensure all of its brands will remain intact.

The business will continue to operate as an independent entity and all of the key team are being retained as part of the acquisition. There are also no plans for any mergers within the Eventist Group’s existing brands.
