Elevate mentoring opens applications for 2021 programme
The Elevate mentoring and training programme has opened applications to UK and international event professionals for the 2021 programme.
Since its foundation in 2016, the programme has matched 650 mentors and mentors for the six-month programme. The programme aims to help accelerate careers, build confidence and develop coaching skills.
The three-step application process involves the initial application questionnaire, where applicants are invited to share as much information as possible. If the application is successful, you’ll be invited to attend a short interview. Following this, Elevate will work to pair 50 mentees with 50 mentors.
However, if applicants aren’t successful in being matched with a mentor, Elevate offers other ways you can get support from the community.
Co-founder of Elevate, Max Fellows said: “We set this programme up five years ago to fill the huge hole that a lack of education and support had created for events professionals. Elevate is a program that can benefit everyone, as is entirely inclusive and helps accelerate careers, build confidence, develop coaching skills, extend network and so much more.”
The programme is open to anyone, from newly graduated event planners to an experienced account director.
Elevate co-founder, Mel Noakes added: “Elevate has played a key role in supporting the development of over 650 people from our industry across five years. The impact of Covid-19 on our industry cannot be overstated. Having a network and support system in place to help us all reimagine what’s possible has never been more important.”
The program is open to everyone in the events industry, from executives through to managing directors. All participants will be provided with structured training, ongoing coaching and support. You can apply via www.elevateme.co. Entries end on February 8, 2021 and the programme will formally begin on 1 March and will run until the 31 September 2021.
