Cheerful Twentyfirst bites the Big Apple with New York office

Creative brand experience agency Cheerful Twentyfirst has opened an office in New York. 

The announcement marks the agency’s first US-based office and its second office globally.

“We are excited to be taking a historical step in our agency’s development,” Cheerful Twentyfirst CEO Steve Quah said.

“New York is the first phase of our committed approach to supporting our US-based and global clients. The New York office opens as a direct result of increasing work in the US and will allow us to better service those clients with on-the-ground support, and within a complimentary time zone.”

Zachary Tranter has been announced as the New York office project director and will join the agency’s 24 strong global workforce. In his role, Tranter is tasked with coordinating the US side of the business and supporting clients in their US projects.

Tranter added that the event landscape had been transformed in the last six months and that it makes “strategic and commercial sense to have a localised, in-market solution for our US clients.”

He brings more than eight years of experience to the role and has extensive knowledge of the international event markets and delivery.

“I am thrilled to take my experience of working across markets and apply it to this new role.”

Cheerful Twentyfirst offers strategic and brand-led solutions across live and virtual events, moving image and communications, brand strategy, creative, and audience engagement.

The international move is wholly supported by Aeorema Communications, the group owner of Cheerful Twentyfirst and venue sourcing agency Eventful Limited.

Back in March of this year, Cheerful Twentyfirst also announced it had taken on members of the senior management from the now-closed Unicorn Events team.

Hannah Luffman, formerly Unicorn Events’ managing director, joined as strategy director, whilst Manuela Cadarso and Elena Clowes joined as project director and creative producer, respectively.
