Trade Associations are only as good as their value

Trade associations are only as good as the work they do and sadly the market is swamped with some that do little more than provide a badge for your website. A good association will be listening to their members, lobbying for change and putting member businesses together to work in partnership. There are plenty that do this across a number of sectors and they are growing their memberships year on year.
If yours isn’t providing this value, then next time the membership comes up for renewal I’d suggest you save your cash!
