Eventful targets corporates with experiential luxury incentive scheme

London-based agency Eventful is targeting the corporate incentive and rewards market with its new offering Eventful Experiences, which is designed to transform the way businesses book and deliver travel incentives and experiences.

Eventful has teamed up with a curated selection of UK luxury hotels, including Gleneagles, Belmond Cadogan Hotel, Coworth Park and Grantley Hall, to launch the new programme, which combines the ease of gift vouchers with the motivational and aspirational impact of travel, enabling companies to reward top performers with luxury travel experiences that can be enjoyed individually rather than as a group.

Eventful managing director Caroline Lumgair said: “Travel restrictions, quarantines and social distancing have made traditional incentive travel experiences difficult to implement. Yet motivating and rewarding employees is more important than ever during these challenging times. Eventful Experiences sits as a luxury offering at this intersection.”

Corporate clients can buy gift certificates through Eventful that incentive winners use to enjoy a luxury experience at any of the participating hotels with their partner, friend, family, or even in small groups with colleagues (subject to government guidelines).

“Eventful Experiences recreate a shared sense of group participation, through personalised individual experiences. The wide selection of hotels, UK locations, and activities on offer allows clients to build an incentive programme that is both rewarding and bespoke to their brand and winners,” said Lumgair.

Hotel partners have committed to delivering experiences that are not available to guests booking directly, providing winners of Eventful Experiences certificates with unique experiences.

“Each Eventful Experience can be tailor-made to the attendee, designed with individual travellers in mind. This is a real game-changer as it is the first incentive travel voucher programme to feature multiple luxury hotel brands,” added Lumgair.

The gift certificates are prepaid, and a minimum purchase required. Eventful will provide a highly personalised bespoke solution to clients wishing to build a full incentive programme around / on the individual experiences, offering services including tailored communication campaigns to engage and inspire employees, virtual or hybrid launch or wrap-up events, and a professionally edited film using content created by the winners during their stays.

Eventful Experiences will initially focus on the domestic hotel market; however there is the potential for the programme to be expanded to include experiences internationally once travel restrictions are eased. Future growth plans also include luxury private dining and exclusive retail experiences.
