Senior journalist Holly Patrick shares her experience of being at the UK's first large business event since the pandemic struck. The Change Business for Good pilot event was part of the government-backed, science-led Events Research Programme.

The event at ACC Liverpool marks the first business event since March 2020 that didn't require Covid-19 safety measures such as social distancing and wearing masks.

The purpose of the event was to collect data to inform the Government on how to safely restart the event industry. Taking factors such as airflow in the venues, movement around the venues and a willingness to reconnect into consideration.
