M&IT editor Paul Harvey is joined by Jez Paxman, content director at Live Union, to discuss his recent corporate-centric "Anatomy of the 2021 event audience" report.

Discover why clients are finding now a really exciting time, how digitising events brings a whole raft of opportunities and why the best events speak to "the majesty of human congregation".

"In terms of thinking you’re going to be able to tell an audience what to do at a virtual event I don’t think you’ve got a chance. They will make up their own mind. They will drop into conversations and leave when they want to and all of that is generally a positive thing.

"If people are exiting your event early you’ve failed in many ways – and content is a crucial part of that. People want a memorable occasion. They want events that deliver an emotional heartpull. And I think that’s something that people have been missing."
