The newly-launched M&IT Summit in April is set to help event professionals explore how to enhance their events through technology.
Taking place at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington on Wednesday 27 April, the spring edition of the M&IT Summit is a free to attend, one-day event focusing on technology in events.
Attendees will discuss best practices, review case studies and answer key questions on how to select the right technology, how to engage audiences and measuring the value of events.
M&IT editor Paul Harvey said: "The M&IT Summit will help event professionals navigate and understand the enormous benefits, such as increased productivity or meeting net-zero sustainability targets, and potential pitfalls, like cybersecurity and lack of engagement, in this rapidly changing event technology landscape.
"Hybrid and virtual formats have redefined conventional events, and with the technology landscape rapidly changing, our summit will set you up to stay ahead of the game."
The event will see a keynote from Fast Future CEO Rohit Talwar on 'Cryptos, NFTs and metaverses – adoption and opportunities for the events sector'. Talwar is a global futurist, award-winning and thought provoking speaker, strategic advisor, author, entrepreneur who works with major corporations, governments, professional services, investors, associations, business schools, and NGOs to help them anticipate, prepare for and create the future.
Dax Callner, strategy director at Smyle, will deliver a session on determining the ROI of your event and understanding attendee behaviour, while there will also be tech demos, round table discussions and panel discussions featuring representatives from IGD, Corporate Cape, CWT, Identity, Freeman and Live Union.
Harvey added: "We've got some fantastic speakers and sessions lined up and I can't wait to welcome eventprofs to the luxurious Millennium Gloucester Hotel Kensington in April. We'll see you there!"
Places at the summit are limited, apply now to secure your place.
